This has to be obvious to most people, but watching TV shows that talk about and engage in sexual activity increases chances that teens themselves will engage in that activity. I've always felt that it's important not to shield kids from the world, but I think it is important to talk to them about consequences and to do ones best to try and not let them have unrealistic expectations about sexual activity. It's not going to make your life great, at all, and could lead to serious problems. Our behavior is learned. There's no doubt about that and parents need to get more involved. The article says teens watch on average 3 hours of TV a day.
